PRE-PRINTING INFORMATION
All photos are taken using either Nikon DSLRs, Leica 35mm's or Linhof large format (5x4) technical cameras. Images are either processed directly (when using digital cameras), or hand developed and then digitised using either drum or virtual drum (Hasselblad Flextight) scanners. This gives a much greater degree of control that when using traditional printing techniques, yet still retains the analogue quality and resolution of the negative.
LTD EDITION PRINTS
These editions are all hand
printed using the highest quality pigment inks and large format printers. Using a combination of modern and traditional techniques we are able to produce images that will maintain full colour gamut and definition for upwards of 150+ years. Prints are all individually profiled and thoroughly inspected before being dispatched. Substrates are chosen for there vibrancy, longevity and quality; we are currently printing on either 100% cotton silver rag ™ (semi-gloss) or 100% cotton watercolour fibre rag (matt). We regard these papers as the highest quality available.
Ltd edition prints are usually available in two sizes and edition numbers. Please note that the dimensions of the smaller edition (50) refer to the paper size, not the printed area.
All ltd edition prints are hand signed and numbered in either silver ink or pencil and feature a small white border and a two inch drop.
Larger sized prints should be mounted before framing in order to prevent sagging, this can be arranged at an additional cost if required (contact us for more info).
OPEN EDITION PRINTS
Open edition prints have recently been made available in order to provide a more affordable alternative to the premium quality ltd/special edition series.
They are printed on the highest quality photo paper (Kodak Endura ™ or Fuji Supergloss ™) and are hand signed in silver ink.
Please note that the dimensions of open edition prints refer to the paper size, not the printed area.
SPECIAL EDITION PRINTS
Special edition prints are all created using the same inks/papers as the ltd edition series, but run in smaller numbers and are not made available as open editions. These prints are the most collectable of Kris Lamba's work.
Please note that number 1 of all special editions will be archived, prints are made available starting from edition number 2.
POSTAGE & PACKING / DISPATCH
Large prints are sent in a crush proof 5 mm thick cardboard tube, smaller prints are sent in a presentation box. Prints are all sent via special delivery for which we charge a flat rate of £10, international shipping rates may vary.
Ltd edition and special edition prints may take up to 28 days for delivery. This is because they are all hand made and checked, open edition prints are usually dispatched the day after an order is placed. If you are interested in current lead times please contact us.
